This summer I will make my debut with San Francisco Opera in grand fashion. I will be singing as Dr. Grenville in La Traviata. I’m absolutely elated to be able to perform with this company! This will be my first major operatic debut here in the USA. London knows me from the ENO’s productions of Julius Ceasar and La Boheme last year. The good people of Warsaw remember the fabulous performances of Simon Boccanegra and Maria Padilla. It’s here back home that I’ve not been too busy, and I’m sooooo ready for it.
The show will be conducted by the fabulous Nicola Luisotti. Called a “champion of early Verdi,” Maestro Luisotti is someone who I’ve wished to work with for some time now.
There will be 10 performances of the opera in June/July ’14; plenty of opportunity to come and see magic unfold in San Francisco! Maybe we can share some beers after the show. See you there!
